Chabad of Closter

Chabad is a worldwide movement which seeks to inspire, educate and assist Jews of all types and stripes to increase their Jewish knowledge, enthusiasm and involvement. Focusing on the inherent holiness of each and every man, woman and child, Chabad welcomes every individual with love and acceptance – regardless of his or her affiliation, degree of observance, or extent of Jewish education and commitment.

Chabad Shul of Closter is being founded by Rabbi Yossi and Mushky Gluckowsky , upon the inspiration of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and seeks to emulate his legendary love and concern for one and all. The Rebbe’s philosophy, drawn from Maimonides, teaches that even a solitary positive act affects the world for the good, accelerating the coming of the Moshiach who will guide us towards a perfect universe.

Imagine a Hebrew School where kids don’t want to miss a day. They come in with a smile and leave humming a Hebrew song. Walking through the halls, you can hear the sounds of lively discussion, of singing, laughter and prayer. Imagine a child who feels the warmth and spirit of Judaism. Welcome to the Jewish Kid's Club, an exciting and innovative educational program. Our kid's club enjoys a well-earned reputation as a trendsetter in creative Jewish education for children in grades kindergarten through 7. Jewish Kid's Club has exciting new programs, a dynamic staff and interested students. Our student body is made up of children from various backgrounds and affiliations. Synagogue membership is not required.
