Rabbi Shmuly Sputz grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y., and studied at Rabbinic institutions in the US, France, and London. He received his Rabbinic ordination in London and New York, and interned as a Rabbi helping build communities far and near, from the USA and across the globe. Shmuly appreciates music and song and has a knack of bringing joy and enthusiasm into the room.
Gittel grew up in Brooklyn and is an experienced educator with a Master's degree in education and Special Ed. She has worked at various Jewish institutions in N.Y and around the world with experience with children ages preschool through High School. Gittel enjoys art and colors and bringing meaningful creativity into her work.

What they offer
Chabad of the Caldwells is a Chabad house in Caldwell, led by Rabbi Shmuel Sputz.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. A kosher store is run here. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bar mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and looks after the elderly.
