Friendship Circle in Baltimore, Maryland, led by Rabbi Eli Solomon.
With more than 80 independent chapters worldwide, Friendship Circle creates genuine friendships between volunteers and participants with special needs, building a Jewish community rooted in inclusion, compassion, and joy. We celebrate each individual and the unique gifts they bring, empowering our participants while forming meaningful, lasting connections.
Friendship Circle is a project of Chabad of Maryland, under the leadership of Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan.
Lovingly known as “The Rebbe,” Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of blessed memory, had an unconditional love for people that knew no bounds. He made everyone feel that they belonged, that they were at home.
The core of the Rebbe’s teachings is that we are truly complete when everyone is included. It is this concept that motivates the Friendship Circle.
