Chabad of Bedford

Chabad of Bedford was founded to provide every Jew regardless of background or degree of commitment, the opportunity to discover the relevance, joy and meaning in our shared heritage. Chabad programs and events all take place in a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental environment.

Rabbi Arik, originally from Australia, was ordained at Central Chabad Yeshiva in Brooklyn. He enjoys playing basketball and teaching Torah. Rabbi Arik's humor and warmth permeate every experience at Chabad, from the JLI classes to meaningful and welcoming prayer services . At any occasion, Simchas to life-cycle events, Rabbi Arik's sensitivity, compassion and wisdom uplift the experience for his congregants and anyone in need of support. Sara, originally from Brooklyn, is the Educational Director at Chabad. She considers each of the students a child of her own, and channels her energy and creativity into engaging and spiritual experiences for students of all ages. She is enthusiastic about the Chabad Cteen program and passionate about the women's Torah classes. The Wolf children's favorite time of the week is Friday night when the house is full of Shabbat guests. They are actively involved in their parents’ community work and can always be seen helping and leading events. From weekly parsha plays in Shul to actively leading the junior congregation, they are clearly thriving, thanks to the Jewish community in Bedford.
