Cheder Menachem

OUR STORY & STAFF Cheder Menachem of New Jersey is a unique day school, located in Central New Jersey. Founded in 2004 by Rabbi D. Dubov, the Cheder grew from a small home school to its current size and location.

The Cheder is a lifeline to the participating families, who otherwise would not have access to the special and unique education we offer. Participating families can rest assured that their children will receive the same kind of Jewish Chassidic education they would receive had they been living in a Chabad metropolis such as Brooklyn or Pittsburgh.

The Cheder boasts small classes, a high student-teacher ratio, and a modern, spacious facility with state of the art classrooms, complete with indoor and outdoor playing areas, art room, library, and spaces for both whole grade activities and small learning groups.

Children have the daily opportunity to learn with fellow Tzeirei HaShluchim, face to face with Chassidishe role models, immersed in an environment ibergegeben to the Rebbe’s values and teachings. Cheder Menachem builds the future as it trains future Rabbis and Rebbetzins to become Shluchim & Chassidim, following in the steps of their parents, with the right ideals to build a better tomorrow. The visual and performing arts are a vital component of our educational program. Music, art, dance, physical education and drama are integrated into class activities and showcased at milestone events. Cheder Menachem has a staff of dedicated and passionate teachers as well as volunteers — all working together to ensure that every child is learning and growing with a strong sense of pride and identity. More than simply imparting information, they serve as role models who choose to come to Cheder every morning not only to teach, but to inspire, to build, and to give.
