Shalom and Welcome to the Chabad Jewish Center serving the University of Illinois and Champaign-Urbana.

The Chabad Jewish Center was established in August 2003. Our aim is to give meaning, share joy and add spirituality to the every day. Our dream is to teach these values in a warm and nurturing environment where people can grow together, enjoying life and Judaism simultaneously.

Chabad recognizes all, regardless of affiliation, background or levels of observances.

We invite you to explore our site and join in our many programs, celebrations, and events. You will find a calendar packed with something for everyone - undergraduates, graduates, children, youth and adults.

מה יש כאן

Chabad Center for Jewish Life and Living at U of Illinois at Urbana Champaign — בית חב"ד בקמפוס ב-Champaign, בהנהלת Rabbi Dovid Tiechtel.

יש במקום בית כנסת. אורחים מתקבלים לסעודות שבת וחג. ארוחות כשרות זמינות במסגרת מנוי. פועלת כאן חנות מוצרים כשרים. יש חנות יודאיקה. מכשירים מטבחים עבור הקהילה. יש מקווה.

מתקיימים שיעורים באופן קבוע, אפשר לקבוע חברותא ומתקיימות הרצאות לציבור. יש ספרייה.

לילדים יש גן ילדים, תוכניות אחר הצהריים, מועדון ילדים וחוג לאמהות ופעוטות.

לנוער ולצעירים יש מועדון נוער, הכנה לבר ובת מצווה, מועדון בר מצווה, מועדון בת מצווה ומסגרת לצעירים עובדים.

עורכים כאן חתונות ולוויות. מכינים זוגות לנישואין. חברה קדישא משרתת את הקהילה.

המרכז מבקר חולים בבתי חולים, מבקר אסירים יהודים, מטפל בקשישים, מחלק חבילות מזון ומספק סיוע הומניטרי.

יש חוג נשים. אפשר לבדוק כאן מזוזות ותפילין. הבניין נגיש לכיסא גלגלים.
