Chabad of Walnut Creek

Chabad of Walnut Creek was founded in 2003 to service the religious and community needs of a small and burgeoning Jewish population on the border of Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and East Davie. Under the stewardship of Rabbi Zalman and Shana Korf, emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe sent by HCS-Chabad and Rabbi Joseph Korf under the auspices of Chabad of South Broward and Rabbi Raphael Tennenhaus, the community has grown exponentially now servicing well over 350 families in three branches.

In 2015 Congregation Judea-Chabad became our second location under the leadership of Rabbi Joseph I Bronstein and is located on Stirling road. Congregation Judea-Chabad is a year round Synagogue/Jewish Center offering area residents all of their religious and communal needs. Rabbi Joseph and Sterna Bronstein serve the community with love, care and selflessness making CJC the perfect environment for Jewish growth.

Beit Chabad Israeli Center, our newest branch, founded in 2016 by Rabbi Yosef and Nava Raskin is a home for those who speak Hebrew and come from Israel. The Rabbi and his wife offer all religious and community services in Hebrew with an Israeli flair that warms the heart and makes everyone feel welcome.

At Chabad of Walnut Creek our goal is to make our part of the world a better place through the Torah commandment to “Love your fellow as yourself”. We believe in the Divine message of G-d’s Holy Torah given to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai as it is illuminated by the teachings of Chabad -the inner dimension of the Torah. We further believe that by spreading this message to all mankind G-d will bless our efforts with world peace, prosperity and justice for mankind with the coming of Mashiach now!
