Chabad of Golden

Our passion for Jewish community and education started when we ourselves were young, searching for connection. Each on our own but similar journeys, we found each other, got married, started a family, and now we're here in Golden — building a warm, welcoming Jewish home for every Jew.

Rabbi Yosef holds a master's in engineering from Georgia Tech. Now a rabbi by training, he combines both skill sets, teaching Jewish values in a way that challenges people to think deeply. You can find him with a Jewish book and a cold brew coffee any time of day — always happy to talk Torah, life, or anything in between.

Basya graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. She's a creative at heart, but her real passion is community building, one person at a time. Her days are spent focused on her family and on the needs of the Jewish community here in Golden. Some days that's delivering matzah ball soup to someone under the weather; other days it's teaching a class on Jewish philosophy, planning the next Shabbat dinner, or just being a listening ear for a neighbor who needs one.
