It is these laws that sustained Jewish families through both times of turbulence and peace. It is so important, that a community is obligated to build a Mikvah before a Synagogue.
The laws of Tharat Hamishpachah are the mystical key to a heavenly marriage. Its properties are magnetic, creating an exhilarating attraction between man and woman. Immersion in the mikvah is the essential component of a fulfilling marriage based on the Laws of Family Purity.
The mikvah is a mystical pool of rainwater that transports a person back to the very origins of spiritual purity.

What they offer
Chabad of Palm Springs is a Chabad house in Palm Springs, led by Rabbi Yonason Denebeim.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community. Dishes can be toveled here.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a preschool, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, serves military personnel and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
